“Cladding our community building with Hempcrete Cymru and 35 local volunteers, as part of a National Lottery Heritage Funded green skills project, was the absolute high point of our build. The opportunity to get stuck in, learn new skills and be able to participate in bringing our building back to life with our own hands was beautiful, and your team are such lovely people to hang out with for a week or two. The hempcrete was so gorgeous and golden we didn't want to cover it up, but had to apply a lime render to protect it. But we know it's underneath, and I honestly believe the whole process and the hempcrete itself has brought a natural warmth and heart to this building which has already known several lives. We've only gone through winter so far, so we're still to know it through the seasons, but thus far we could not be more happy with our hempcrete!”
